Last year I published a post on vegan drinks and food available at Starbucks, and now they have added more to the list! Ok they haven’t quite caught up to veggie Pret yet but slowly getting there. (Wouldn’t a veggie Starbucks be amazing?!)
So here’s a quick update on new food items and drinks available for Vegans at Starbucks.
- NEW Kale and jalapeño slaw wrap
- Falafel, quinoa and humous salad (You can even ask to have it heated up!)
- Green and Berry smoothies (Both can be eaten as they are or blended with apple juice and ice for a yummy smoothie.)
- Peanut and cashew bar
- Dark chocolate
- Fruit pots
- Soya porridge with dried fruit
All can be made with Almond, soya or coconut milk.
- flat white
- espresso macchiato / espresso
- green tea matcha latte
- Classic hot chocolate
Chai tea latte is NOT vegan as contains honey
White mocha and signature hot chocolate is NOT vegan as contains milk
Frappuccinos – All bases are vegan. Ask without cream and drizzle.
Coffee base: coffee, caramel, java chip, mocha, espresso
Creme base (no coffee): strawberries and cream, vanilla cream, double chocolately chip, chocolate, caramel cream, green tea matcha
ALL DRIZZLES ARE NOT VEGAN (i.e. Caramel drizzle)
however, ALL syrups ARE vegan (i.e. Macadamia, caramel, vanilla, sugar free syrups…) I will list a full list of syrups at the bottom of page if people would like (comment for a list:)
- Mango passion
- All iced tea lemonades
- All shaken teas
- All iced coffees except caramel macchiato
- Cold brew
Cappuccino freddo does not work well with non dairy so I reccomend just having an iced soy cappuccino instead
The new Cold Brew Vanilla cream is NOT Vegan.
This is an update from the last post as Starbucks have discontinued some drinks that were featured before and introduced new ones.
Hope this helps! 🙂
